Sending Print Jobs

Turn on the workstation computer and login with the following credentials:
Username: research
Password: research
Launch the Onyx GamaPrint applications RIP-Queue and Layout.

Connecting to the Server

If your hard drive is not compatible with Windows you may want to use the server to
transfer your files onto the workstation PC. From home or one of the other lab
workstations, copy your files onto your server space, then download them to the
S70670 PC.
To connect to the server on OS X:
1. In the Finder menu bar, go to Go > Connect to server...
2. In the ‟Server Address‟ field enter smb://fs.hexagram.ca
3. Enter your credentials, in the format Username: hex-yourusername and Password:
yourpassword.
4. Navigate to Homes > hex-yourusername and you will see folders available for file
storage.
To connect to the server on Windows 7:
1. Open the Run app from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
2. Type the following address to connect to Concordia Fine Arts Research server:
\\fs.hexagram.ca
3. Select OK.
4. Enter your credentials, in the following format: User login: cdaad\hex-yourusername
Password: yourpassword
5. Select OK.
6. To access your files, navigate to Homes > hex-yourusername.
Make a new folder with your name in the My Documents > Save Here folder and copy
your files there.
