2. Sequence of Operations

The machine's scanner becomes ready for operation when the temperature of the fixing roller reach-
l
es a specific value so that the image of the original may be read in response to a press on the Copy
Start key. Writing of the image on the surface of the photosensitive drum becomes ready when the
image signals have been stored in memory. (Image formation starts in relation to a registration slg-
nal.)
Control in relation to signals other than the registration signal is discussed using separate timing
charts.
