    ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill. 3.a. The electrode and work (or ground) circuits are electrically “hot” when the welder is on. Do not touch these “hot” parts with your bare skin or wet clothing. Wear dry, hole-free gloves to insulate hands.
  • Page 4 WELDING SPARKS can cause fire or explosion. 6.a. Remove fire hazards from the welding area. If this is not possible, cover them to prevent the welding sparks from starting a fire. Remember that welding sparks and hot materials from welding can easily go through small cracks and openings to adjacent areas.

    DESCRIPTION The K206 is a Flux-Cored Fume Gun rated 350 amperes 60% duty cycle . It was developed to remove smoke emitted at the arc when welding with Innershield electrodes. The gun can use .062", .068", .072(1.8mm), 5/64"(2.0mm) and 3/32"(2.4mm) elec- trode at 3/4"(19mm), 1"(25.4mm), 1-1/2"(38mm), 2"(51mm) and 2-3/4"(70mm) Contact Tip To Work Distance(CTWD).

    Welding conditions will affect the air flow required for adequate smoke removal. 1. At the same welding currents, NS-3M electrodes require less air flow than NR-311 electrodes. 2. Horizontal and position fillet welds require less air flow than lap or open butt welds. 3.
