TACHOMETER
ODOMETER/TRIP METER
Odometer/Trip Meter
The odometer shows the total
distance your vehicle has been
driven. It is illegal under provincial
regulations to disconnect, reset, or
alter the odometer with the intent to
change the number of kilometers
indicated.
SPEEDOMETER
SELECT/RESET KNOB
The trip meter shows the number of
kilometers or miles driven since you
last reset it. There are two trip
meters: Trip A and Trip B.
The odometer and the two trip
meters use the same display. To
select, press the Select/Reset knob.
Each trip meter works independently,
so you can keep track of two
different distances. To reset a trip
meter, display it, and then press and
hold the Select/Reset knob until the
number resets to ''0.0''.
Both trip meters will reset if the
vehicle's battery goes dead or is
disconnected.
