Check of expansion valve (LEV)

O
1Turn OFF the outdoor unit power supply.
2Turn ON the outdoor unit power supply.
With remote controller set toward the indoor unit,
press OPERATE/ STOP(ON/ OFF)
button and confirm one beep tone.
LEV operates in full-opening
direction.
Do you hear LEV "click,
click·······"?
Do you touch LEV and
feel it vibrate?
No
Is LEV coil properly fixed to
the body?
Yes
Is LEV coil resistance as per
characterictics below?
No
Replace the
LEV coil.
Yes
Ok
No
Properly fix LEV coil to
the body.
Replace the outdoor
Yes
electronic control P.C.
board.
Confirm again that LEV
is operating.
Do you hear LEV
"click, click·········"?
No
Replace the LEV.
