4. Connect electrical wiring.
Follow WARNING statement no. 2 (page 1) before wiring unit.
Remove triangular wire box cover with relay assembly and
wiring plate from the housing.
Bring in 120 VAC house power wiring (with ground) from switch
through the wiring plate into the wiring compartment.
Using the 120 volts coming through the wiring plate, make
the following connections (see diagram):
- Connect BLACK wire from the switch to the BLACK wire from the
3-pin receptacle and 1 BLACK wire from the relay assembly.
- Connect the WHITE wire from the switch to the WHITE
wire on the 3-pin receptacle and the other BLACK wire on
the relay assembly.
- Connect the GREEN or BARE wire from the switch to the
GREEN ground wire from the 3-pin receptacle.
Connect the two remaining BLUE wires from the relay
normally open (N.O.) contacts to the furnace blower motor,
or the control circuit of the furnace. This connection will turn
on the furnace blower motor when the fan turns on.
Reinstall wiring plate and triangular wire box cover assembly.

SERVICE NOTE To remove Blower Assembly: Unplug motor (7). Remove screw (4) from motor plate (9) fl ange.
Find the single TAB on the motor plate (located next to the receptacle). Push up near motor plate tab while pushing
out on side of housing. Or insert a straight-blade screwdriver into slot in housing (next to tab) and twist screwdriver.

Plug in motor into the 3-pin receptacle on the wire box cover
assembly.
Remove backing from cautionnary label supplied (part
no. 990719651) and stick label on the furnace door.
INSTALL GRILLE
5. Finish ceiling.
Install ceiling material. Cut out around housing.
6. Attach grille
to housing.
Squeeze grille
springs and insert
them into slots
on each side of
housing.
