ATIV Camera

The new ATIV Camera replaces the Shooting Mode app,
bringing you a full-featured camera experience with
improved interface and expanded shooting modes.
Note: When ATIV Camera requests your location, Microsoft
collects information about your location to provide and
improve its location services. This information is not
used to identify or contact you.
1. From the Home screen, swipe left to display the
Applications menu and tap
The Allow "Ativ Modes" to use your location? screen
displays.
2. Tap Ok to allow your location to be used.
3. Tap
Mode to display the shooting modes.

Battery Saver

Battery Saver can be used to manage how your apps use
battery power. You can view the battery power your apps are
consuming and change whether they can run in the
background. You can also turn off all nonessential features
and conserve your battery or limit background usage to save
power.
The Battery Saver app has a usage screen and a settings
screen.
To access Battery Saver usage screen:
1. From the Home screen, swipe left to display the
Applications menu and tap
2. If necessary, swipe over to usage.
The usage screen displays a list of your apps and their
relative battery consumption.
3. Tap show all apps to list all your apps. The apps with
recent battery usage are listed first.

Tap show apps with usage to list only the apps with
recent battery usage.
To allow apps to run in the background:
