Note: Your phone will not use cellular data when Wi-Fi
connectivity is limited. You may not be able to send or
receive data.
5. Tap SIM settings for these options:
• SIM name: Tap this field and use the onscreen keyboard to
enter a name for your SIM card.
• Mode selection: Tap this field and select a network or
Global mode. The modes are: Global Mode, LTE and CDMA,
LTE, GSM, or UMTS.

NFC
Near Field Communication (NFC) allows data exchange when
you tap your device with another compatible device. This can
be used to share photos, websites, contacts, and more, or
pair your phone by tapping another NFC-capable device.
To turn this feature on:
1. From the Home screen, tap
system menu, tap NFC.
2. To share photos, websites, and more, or pair your
phone by tapping to another NFC-capable device,
touch and slide the Tap to share slider to the right.
3. To pay for things by tapping your phone to a
participating store's NFC reader, touch and slide the
Tap to pay slider to the right.
Note: You must have a payment SIM card to use tap to pay.
4. To select when you can use NFC payments, tap the
Active cards work field and select while phone is
unlocked, while screen is on, or anytime.
