an eave or deck rail is preferred.
Indoor use: Mount the Remote Sensor indoors to monitor high mold risk areas like in a crawl
space or basement.
The maximum wireless transmission range to the weather station is over 200 feet (60 meters)
in open air, not including walls or floors.
Be sure the remote sensor is mounted vertically.
