1. Turn the Channel Selector knob to Channel 1 (see the illustration below).
2. Hold the Push-To-Talk button down while turning the radio on (turning the
On/Off Volume knob at the top of the radio). The radio announces the
current frequency setting for that channel. For example, it might say,
"Frequency one."
3. Press the Push-To-Talk button to scroll through the frequencies. The radio
announces each frequency as you scroll. For example, it might say,
"Two...three...."
4. Release the Push-To-Talk when you've reached the desired frequency.
5. Turn the Channel Selector knob to channel 2 and repeat steps 3 and 4. For the
4-channel models, repeat to set channels 3 and 4.
6. Press the Monitor button to select and save the new frequency setting. The
radio announces the current code setting. For example, it might say, "Code two
nine."
7. Press the Push-To-Talk button to scroll through the codes. The radio
announces each code as you scroll. For example, it might say, "three
zero...three one..."
