Front Panel

POWER
Switches the DVD Recorder ON or OFF.
INPUT4 (VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN (Left/Right))
Connect the audio/video output of an external source
(Audio system, TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).
Display window
Shows the current status of the
DVD Recorder.
INPUT 4 (S-VIDEO IN)
Connect the S-Video output of an
external source (TV/ Monitor, VCR,
Camcorder, etc.).
Go to beginning of current chapter/ track or to previous chapter/track.
Press and hold for two seconds for a fast reverse search during playback.
Press and hold for two seconds for a fast forward search during playback.
Pause playback or recording temporarily,
Opens or closes the disc tray.
DV INPUT Power indicator
Connect the DV Lights up red when
output of a digital the recorder is in

Disc Tray
Insert a disc here.
PROG. (+/-)
Scans up or down through
memorized channels.
Point the DVD Recorder remote control here.
Starts recording. Press repeatedly
to set the recording time.
Stops playback or recording.

To play back a disc.
