Consecutive character codes for multiple characters can be
▪
defined in one definition. When specifying only one character,
specify c1 = c2.
▪
"d" is definition data that indicates the pattern for " x" dots in the
horizontal direction starting from the left edge. If " x" does not
satisfy the number of dots in the character configuration pattern,
the remaining dots on the right are spaces.
The number of bytes required to download a character definition
▪
for one character is " y" × " x".
In the definition data, a "1" represents a dot that is to be printed,
▪
and a "0" represents a dot that is not to be printed.
Independent downloaded character definitions are possible for
▪
each font. The font is selected by the "ESC !" command.
▪
The defined downloaded characters are cleared in the following
circumstances:
1) When "ESC @" is executed
2) When deleted by "ESC ?"
3) When the printer is reset or turned off
