When you receive a text message,
is
shown on your display with the words 1
message received.

P ress Show to read the message or
p ress Exit to save the message to your
Inbox. The
symbol will remain on your
display until the message has been re a d .

When reading a received message,
press Options to choose from:
Delete
To delete the message from your Inbox.
Reply
To reply to the message enter your
message and select Options and
then Send.
Use detail
Save a number, email or web address
contained in the message.
Forward
Send this message on to another
phone number.

Edit
Edit the message before you forward
it to another number.
M o v e
Move the message to a diff e re n t
message folder.
Rename
Rename the message.
Copy to calendar
Copy the message to a calendar note.
See page 70 for more information
about your calendar.
Message details
See details about the message,
including the time and date when it
was sent and the number it was
sent from.

message folders

You can organise your messages into
separate folders for ease of reference.
To create a message folder:

Press Menu and select Messages.
Select Text messages and then select
My folders.

Press Add.

You will be prompted to enter a name for
the folder. Enter the name and press OK.
The folder will be added.
To move messages into your folders:

Press Menu and select Messages.
Select Text messages and then
select Inbox.

Select a message that you want to
move and press Options.

Select Move and select which folder you
want to move the message to. Choose
from Archive and Templates folders, as
well as your personal folders.
