Software update via Over-the-Air (OTA)
You can conveniently update your tablet's firmware to the newer version
via OTA without connecting the USB cable.
NOTE This feature is only available if and when LG makes the newer version of the firmware
available for your tablet.
First, check the software version on your tablet:
From the Home screen, tap the Home Button
> About tablet > Software info.
If a software update is available for your tablet, you can perform a software
update:
From the Home screen, tap the Home Button
> System updates > Check for new system update.
NOTE LG reserves the right to make firmware updates available only for selected models at its
own discretion and does not guarantee the availability of the newer version of the
firmware for all tablet models.
WARNING! Your personal data — including information about your Google Account and any other
accounts, your system/application data and settings, any downloaded applications,
and your DRM licence — might be lost in the process of updating your tablet's
software. Therefore, LG recommends that you backup your personal data before
updating your tablet's software. LG does not take responsibility for any loss of
personal data.
