Oatmeal
SMART COOK OATMEAL setting is designed
to gently cook your oatmeal to tender without
drying or becoming lumpy.
The SMART COOK OATMEAL setting uses
2 power levels, firstly 100% to get the
starches activated and then 50% to gently
cook to a tender consistency.
Suitable for quick cook oatmeal.
Always use a deep microwave-safe bowl and do
not cover.
Halfway through the cook program, the oven
will beep and will flash STIR/TURN FOOD.
Pause and stir oatmeal and press
START button.
For creamy oatmeal, use 1 part oatmeal to
2 parts water.
See Oatmeal Table on this page.
Measure oatmeal accurately and place into a
microwave-safe bowl.
Add corresponding water amount. E.g. if you
are cooking 1 cup of oatmeal you will need
2 cups water. This will be sufficient to feed up
to 2–4 people.
Do not cover.
Select SMART COOK OATMEAL and dial up
amount of oatmeal cups.
Press START button.
Remove from microwave oven and let stand
2–3 minutes before serving.
