5 DESCRIPTION OF OPERATING SEQUENCE

5.1. Variable power cooking
control
The coil of power relays are energized intermittently by the
digital programmer circuit, when the oven is set at any power
selection except for High power position. The digital
programmer circuit controls the ON-OFF time of power relays
contacts in order to vary the output power of the microwave
oven.
The relation between indictions on the control panel and the
output of the microwave oven is as shown in table.
NOTE 1:
The ON/OFF time ratio does not correspond with the
percentageof microwave power since approximately 2
seconds are required for heating of magnetron filament.
NOTE 2:
ON-OFF time of power relays are changed by digital
programmer circuit when remaining cooking time or
selected cooking time are within 1 minutes 30 seconds at
MED, LOW, SIMMER and Defrost cooking mode.
