Replacing the battery

To remove the battery

1. Shut down your Joybook completely. Disconnect the power
adapter and turn over your Joybook.

2. Move Battery retainer A to the unlock position
3. Slide Battery retainer B to the left as the Arrow sign shows,
and hold the retainer while pulling the battery away from its
compartment.

To install the battery

1. Slide the battery into the compartment until it snaps into
place. Battery retainer B will automatically lock.
