Trouble5 : Flash does not light
cause1. Loose connection of the connector between PCB D and camera unit.
action1. Insert the connector tightly.
cause2. Faulty Flash unit
action2. Replace Flash unit.
cause3. Open circuitted fuse (FU102 on PCB L)
action4. Replace the fuse.
Trouble6 : Display failure when flash is used.
cause1. Noise when flash is in operation.
action1. Refer to "Strobe operation check on page 16".
Trouble7 : Flash's light control impossible (red eye prevention mode does not
work, too light or too dark)
cause1. Faulty Flash unit
action1. Replace Flash unit
cause2. Dirty or improperly fixed light control sensor
action2. Clean or re-fix the light control sensor.
Trouble8 : Unable to switch between REC and PLAY.
cause1. Switch unit broken or bad installation.
action1. Replace or reinstall switch unit.
Trouble9 : When switching form PLAY to REC, display turns blue and key
operations do not work.(Also unable to turn power off.)
cause1. Bad connection between D PCB ass'y and camera unit, or broken camera unit.
action1. Reconnect connector, or replace D PCB ass'y or camera unit.
Trouble10 : Blur display.
cause1. Dirty lens.
action1. Clean lens.
cause2. Broken CL unit.
action2. Replace CL unit.
Trouble11 : Battery consumption is fast.
cause1. Differs between manufacturers, types, temperatures, and storage time.
cause2. Current consumption is high.
action2. Check current consumption. Repair the problem.
cause3. Kept battery in the camera itself for a long time.
action3. If not planning to use the camera for a long period of time, remove batteries.
(Even when power is turned off, electricity is consumed.)
