4.4 Connections for F Suffix and
N Suffix Models
Connections for models containing fiber optic or
twisted pair interfaces are defined in a separate
Addendum, provided with those models.
4.5 Dome Removal
1. Remove the bottom piece of the dome by vertically
pulling on the lower half. A safety strap will
prevent the bottom from dropping.
2. When opening an outdoor unit, insert the blue
plastic tab underneath, as shown in FIGURE 5,
and turn to open.

3. The cameras used in the LTC 9450 Unity Dome
Series can be adjusted in a variety of ways; refer to
Section 5 for more information.
4. Reattach the dome's bottom half by aligning the
tabs and vertically inserting the unit into the top
half until it snaps into place.
5. Adjust dome bubble to align the viewing slot with
the camera.

CAMERA SETUP
5.1
Camera/Lens Positioning
The LTC 9450 Series units are supplied with either
a white camera or a black camera. The following
instructions are for both black and white cameras.
Any differences are noted.

1. The camera mounting brackets allow camera
view adjustments in a variety of ways. Refer to
FIGURE 6a for units supplied with white cameras,
or FIGURE 6b for black cameras.

2. Loosen the two wing nuts to adjust the camera tilt.
Pliers may be required to loosen them since the
unit is shipped with the wing nuts tight.
3. Start by setting the camera near the end of the slot,
and perform adjustments to reach the desired
camera position.
