1 Information for the user

ATTENTION!

1.1 General information

Please note these instructions while you are installing,
operating and maintaining this equipment. This storage
heater must only be installed and repaired by a quali-
fied installer.
Improper repairs may result in considerable risks for
the user.
The installation and instruction manual must be availa-
ble at all times, and be provided to the qualified install-
er, for them to refer to, when they are working on the
storage heater.
For this reason, we request that you leave these in-
structions for the next tenant, or owner, when you move
house.
If you renovate your dwelling, and there is a lot of dust,
only operate the storage heater with the ventilator
switched off!
ATTENTION!

1.2 Safety notes!

ATTENTION!
When the storage heater is operating, its surface
temperature may exceed 80°C.
You must comply with the minimum spacings de-
scribed. (Fig. 3)
The spacings must not be reduced by objects
hanging nearby.
Objects of all types must be at least 300 mm from
the air outlet guard. This also applies to long-pile
carpets.
Do not cover the storage heater! (Fig. 1)

Surfaces of the heater should not be covered or ob-
structed as this can cause excessive temperatures
that can be hazardous (the heater's surface, and
the objects covering it, can become extremely hot).

Do not insert any object into the storage heater or
allow objects to touch it. This could cause the stor-
age heater to malfunction, or set fire to the objects
touching it.
Remove any objects that fall behind the storage
heater immediately.
Ensure that small children or aged or infirm people
do not touch the heater's surfaces, especially the
air outlet guard.
Do not allow any combustible objects, such as cur-
tains, paper, aerosols etc., to touch the storage
heater or come into contact with the warm air blown
from the heater.
Storage heaters must not be operated in rooms
where combustible materials of any type, for exam-
ple, gases, vapours or dust are present, even tem-
porarily. This applies to volatile solvents. If these
are present, please ensure that the storage heaters
are cooled down to room temperature.
Do not use steam cleaning devices to clean the
storage heater.
ATTENTION!
Storage heaters must not be installed or used in
premises where the risk of explosion is present, or
in premises where corrosive air might be present!
ATTENTION!
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children under 8 years of
age) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety and fully understand the risks!
ATTENTION!
Do not allow children to play with the storage
heater!
ATTENTION!
Do not allow children to clean or maintain the
heater without proper supervision!
