    Understanding screen icons These icons may appear on your phone’s screen. The phone is operating in IS2000 (1X) digital mode. The phone is operating in IS95 digital mode.     You can call the code even if your phone is locked or your account is restricted. When you call, your phone enters Emergency mode.     ENDING AND This chapter describes how to send, receive, and erase text messages from your phone. For information on voicemail messages, see page 21.
