AF-Area Mode
Choose how the focus point for autofocus is selected.

selector. If subject moves after camera has focused, camera uses 30-
tracking to select new focus point and keep focus locked on original
[3Dl 3D-tracking subject while shutter-release button is pressed halfway. If subject
(11 points) leaves viewfinder, remove your finger from shutter-release button
and recompose photograph with subject in selected focus point.
Note that 3D-tracking may not produce the desired results with
subjects that are the same color as the background.
