Using the Cleaning Paper Cleaning paper is designed to remove loose dust and ink only. Perform these steps between the manual cleanings described in the previous section Connect scanner to computer and power on. Apply V1 Cleaner to both sides of cleaning paper and place in paper chute. -

Replacing Consumables Brake Roller (Recommended after 200,000 sheets or 1 year) Squeeze tabs and pull down brake roller cover. Lift right side of brake roller up and out to remove from scanner Remove brake roller from shaft Install new roller. Pick Roller (Recommended after 200,000 sheets or 1 year) Lift open sheet guide Rotate pick roller lever up Lift out pick roller and shaft. Use a paper clip to lift tab on pick roller and remove from shaft. Install new roller.
