contact disabled (lights always off
with exception of footwell lights)

Press = Turns interior lights on

4. Reading light
Press = Turns reading light on/off
5. Auto dimming mirror
Automatically activated when
ignition lock is in ON position;
also includes automatic dimming
of driver's-side rear view mirror
except when gear shift is in Reverse
6. SOS Emergency call button
System will automatically place
call to monitoring service which can
call for help if air bag or emergency
tensioning retractors are deployed
Driver/passenger can also place call;
when contact is established between
vehicle and Response Center, the
Response Center will determine
nature of emergency and dispatch
appropriate assistance
To activate: Press cover to expose
button and press button for 2 seconds
7. Roadside Assistance button
(located inside armrest)
Press to connect with Mercedes-Benz
Roadside Assistance: automatically
sends vehicle location and type
to roadside assistance operator
