ONE POINT REPAIR INSTRUCTION
2. VFD DOES NOT DISPLAY OR NO BOOTING WHEN YOU TURN ON THE
POWER BUTTON.
VFD does not display or no booting problem occurs when you power on the BD
player.
2-1. Solution
replace ic301 on main board.
2-2. How to troubleshoot (Countermeasure)
1) Please check 5.3va of c213 (cn201n, cn201S).
2) check the 1.2v, 1.5v, 3.3v, 5v
if 1.2v, 1.5v, 3.3v, 5v voltage doesn't come out,
check P_con_5.3v (ic301 pin13), P_con_5.3l(ic301 pin15) and PWr_ctrl(ic301 pin14).
--> if you figure out those power control doesn't come out any signal level (or voltage),
please replace ic301 of main board.
3) if X301 does not oscillate as the frequence of 12Mhz,
first, check X301 and then replace ic301.
4) after changing it, if the set is still not booting, check MPeG ic(ic500).
after changing it, if vFd is not displayed, check SMPS power (-29va, Fd+, Fd-).
