    Stand-by Mode When the DVD Standard is connected to AC power, the red stand-by LED illuminates. This indicates that the component is in stand-by mode, a low power consumption status that keeps the audio and reg- ulator circuits at idle.

Component Video A video signal that uses three wires to convey luminance (Y), red minus luminance (R-Y), and blue minus luminance (B-Y) signals.

    Note Krell DVD Standard 20 Left and Right Balanced Audio Outputs The DVD Standard is equipped with one pair of left and right bal- anced analog audio outputs via XLR connectors. 21 Left and Right Single-ended Audio Outputs The DVD Standard is equipped with one pair of left and right single- ended analog audio outputs via RCA connectors.
