Engine oil change

Change the engine oil every 100 hours of
operation (together with engine oil filter
replacement).
If the engine runs less than 100 hours dur-
5
ing the year the oil should be changed at
least once a year.
Run the engine for a few minutes before
changing the oil; warm oil can be pumped
out more easily.
Change the oil with a switched off engine
at operation temperature. (Lube oil tem-
perature approx. 80°C (176°F).)
Be aware of the risk of skin
burning during draining the
hot oil! Used oil must be
collected in a container for
proper disposal according
to laws and regulations.
