Answering a Second Call

You can answer an incoming call while you have a
call in progress, if this service is supported by the
network and if you have set the Call Waiting menu
option (8-3) to Activate (see page 79). You will be
notified of an incoming call by a call waiting tone.
To answer a call while you have a call in progress,
proceed as follows.
1. Press
The first call is automatically put on hold.
2. If you want to switch between the two calls,
press the Swap soft key.
If you already have both an active and a held call and
you receive a third call, the following options are
available when you press
End Active: allows you to end the active call and
answer the incoming call.
End Held: allows you to end the call on hold and
answer the incoming call.
