Handling Song Files

Basic Song File Operation

Song files can be handled via the instructions shown below.
1.
Connect the USB flash memory to the USB [TO DEVICE]
terminal as necessary.
In order to use a file on a USB flash memory with the instrument, the file
must be stored to the USB flash memory.
2.
Select a Song for handling.
For information on selecting a Song, see page 39.
3.
Call up the File mode.
3-1.
Press the [MENU] button repeatedly to call up the Song Menu
display. Use the [ ]/[ ] buttons to select "File" then press the
[>] button.

Select the desired operation from "Delete," "Copy," "Move,"
"MIDItoAudio" or "Rename."
For example: Renaming files
From here, if you wish to close the File mode, press the [EXIT] button
once or twice.

Execute the selected operation.
For specific instructions, refer to the corresponding section.

During operation, messages (information, confirmation, etc.) may be
shown on the display. For explanations and details, refer to "Message List"
on page 102.
5.
Press the [EXIT] button to close the File mode.

NOTICE
Do not disconnect the USB
flash memory during file
handling or when a USB flash
memory is mounted. Doing so
may delete all data in the USB
flash memory and the
instrument.
