IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not use the machine without the
built-in filter in place. Fire hazard.
A damaged lint filter must be replaced
immediately. Built-up lint could block the
airflow.
Keep the area around the exhaust
opening and surrounding areas free of
accumulating lint, dust and dirt.
The interior of the appliance and exhaust
duct should be cleaned periodically by a
qualified service technician.
To protect the machine from rust
damage, only use chloride-free
disinfecting and cleaning agents for
laundering and disinfecting, and for cleaning
the machine. If in doubt about an agent
contact Miele's Professional Department.
Chloride agent spills should be rinsed off
with water and dried with a soft cloth.
Do not use a high pressure cleaner or
water jet to clean the machine.
Only use genuine Miele parts. Use of
non-Miele parts may impair performance
and void any guarantees and product
liability claims.
Keep the dryer area clear and free from
combustible materials, gasoline and
other flammable vapors and liquids.
Remove door to the drying compartment
before the appliance is removed for
service or discarded.

Gas heated dryers
Close the gas valve and the shut-off
device at the gas meter if there is a
technical fault or for cleaning and
maintenance.
Caution! Check for gas leaks on all gas
components, from gas valve to burner
nozzle, before finishing installation,
maintenance, service and alterations. Pay
special attention to the gauge connection at
the gas valve and the burner.
Check for gas leaks with the burner turned
on and off.
