Installation Instructions

The dryer must be installed and
serviced by Miele's Technical Service.
The dryer must not be transported without
the transport pallet.
Do not install the machine in rooms where
temperatures below freezing may occur.
Use flexible metal pipe or rigid metal pipe
for venting. Non-metallic flexible hose
should not be used, it is a potential fire
hazard.
^ Follow the enclosed installation diagram
and installation instructions.
To allow easy access for maintenance and
repair work the measurements and distance
to the wall shown in the installation plan
should be adhered to.
The dryer is fitted with an exhaust fan which
runs with a certain noise level.
^ To minimize the noise level a muffler can
be installed at the exhaust connection. The
muffler is available from Miele.

Leveling the machine
The machine must be leveled for proper
operation. The machine does not need to be
installed on a base, however, any
unevenness in the floor must be
compensated for.
^ Level the dryer by adjusting the machine's
four height adjustable feet (A).
^ Once leveled the discs (B) must be turned
with a screwdriver against the machine's
base plate.
Coin mechanism
The dryer can be equipped with a coin
mechanism which requires an adapter. The
necessary reprogramming of the dryer must
be done by a Miele Service Technician. The
coin mechanism can be purchased from
Miele.
