  • Page 15 DHW Production Domestic Hot Water Production Vitodens 200-W boilers can be used in conjunction with the stand-alone DHW storage tanks offered by Viessmann. All Viessmann DHW storage tanks sold in North America are available in “Vitosilver” finish only. Size and select the DHW storage tank based on the forecasted DHW consumption of the building in question.
  • Page 16 These advantages directly derive from the immediate availability of domestic hot water at all draw points. Poor insulation of the DHW recirculation line, however, can result in considerable heat loss. Viessmann therefore recommends that effective insulation be provided and used for DHW recirculation lines of 23 ft. / 7 m in length or longer.
