AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL
Automatic air recirculation
Press button 2. The integrated indicator
light comes on.
The sensor located at the air intake de-
tects atmospheric pollution, which au-
tomatically switches air recirculation on
or off, depending on the ambient level
of gas. Press button 2 again or press
button 10 or 11 to stop this function.
Manual air recirculation
Pressing button 11 activates air recir-
culation mode (the integrated indicator
comes on).
– during recirculation, air is taken from
the passenger compartment and re-
cycled, with no air being taken from
outside the vehicle;
– air recirculation allows the external
atmosphere to be cut off (when driv-
ing in polluted areas, etc.).
Prolonged activation of this mode may
cause the windows to mist up or lead to
odours, as the air is not renewed.
It is therefore recommended to return to
normal operation (outside air) by press-
ing button 11 again.

The demisting/de-icing will still take
priority over the air recirculation.
In some situations (high humidity,
low temperature, etc.) air recircula-
tion is not activated automatically, to
ensure visibility remains the priority
(ventilation is maintained using air
from the outside).

If you activate automatic air recir-
culation system when driving in an
urban or industrial area, the air re-
circulation will run for longer, which
may cause condensation to form on
the windows.
With this system activated, press
button 10 to remove it.
Drive using normal operation (out-
side air) and switch the air condi-
tioning system on to ensure good
visibility on a day where a lot of con-
densation is likely to form.
