If power supply unit redundancy is selected (n+1 or n+m), the maximum standard output power available for
the system unit is reduced, but every redundant power supply unit increases the reliability and availability of
this output power level because 1 or m power supply unit(s) can fail without operations being interrupted.
Two power supply units are required for the smallest redundant PSU configuration in a BX900 system unit.
Possible values: No Redundancy, 2+1, 3+1, 4+1, 5+1, 2+2, 3+3.
On the right-hand side of the box the power on/off status and the power supply unit status of the system unit are
displayed. The following terms require explanation:
Present PSUs
Total number of power supply units connected.
Defective PSUs
Number of defective power supply units.
Available PSUs
Number of operational power supply units.
Sleeping PSUs
Number of power supply units in standby mode.
Working PSUs
Number of active power supply units.
Input Power System Limit
Enable Input Power Limit
In order to specify the other settings in this box (Input Power System Limit) and in the Input Power System
Warning box, this checkbox must be enabled.
Currently Possible Input Power Limitation [range]
The input power obtained by the power supply units can be limited here. The value must be contained in the
predefined range.
Input Power System Warning
Warning Threshold (1 - 100)
Defines a percentage which, when reached, causes the system unit to issue a warning.
Limit Duration Time (1- 7200)
Defines the length of time (in seconds) for which the threshold status will be tolerated.
Action After Limit Exceeded
Defines which action (Continue, Graceful Shutdown And Power-Off or Hard Power-Off) is executed after the limit
value which has been set is reached.
