This section describes how to install the adapter card
in your computer.

1.3 Unpacking

Caution:
To prevent static charge from damaging the
adapter, reduce the charge by touching a
ground, e.g., the computer chassis, before
handling the adapter card.
Open the shipping carton and carefully remove all the
items. In addition to this User' s Guide, please check
the following:

One phoneline networking PCI card
q
One 3.5" driver diskette
Note:
If any of the listed items is missing, please
contact your distributor or reseller.

1.4 Installing the Phoneline Card

1. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power
cord.
2. Remove the computer' s cover according to its
manufacturer' s instructions.
