Handwriting Recognition

Handwriting can be recognized in S Note and Action Memo. You will be able to perform handwritten
searches.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap
Language and input > Language under Handwriting and Recognition, and select a
language.

Speech Settings

Configure options for using your voice to control your phone.

Voice Search Settings

Use Voice search to perform Google searches by speaking the criteria.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap
Language and input, and then tap Voice search for these options:
Languages: Choose language(s) for use with Google voice typing.
Speech output: Set this feature to On, Hands-free only, or Off.
"OK Google" Detection: Configure settings for voice detection when you say "OK Google."
Offline speech recognition: Download and install speech recognition engines, to allow you
to use voice input while not connected to the network, such as during Airplane mode.
Block offensive words: Tap the check box to control whether Google displays words
generally recognized as offensive.
Audio History: This allows Google to store your voice commands in an effort to help
recognize your voice and improve speech recognition. Tap the slider to turn this feature on or
off.
Manage Audio History: Sign in to your Google account in the web browser to manage your
personal audio history.
Bluetooth headset: Record audio through a Bluetooth headset, if available.
