12) Microphone Storage
The system has sufficient space to store its own vocal microphone and microphone lead. These are stored in
underneath the flap as indicated.
13) iPod® Dock
An Apple® iPod® compatible dock suitable for most iPod's®. Remove the rubber protector from the connector and
dock the iPod®. Once docked the support should be adjusted to prevent strain on the 30-pin connector – failure to
do so may result in damage to the system or the iPod's® connector. Remove the iPod® before transportation.
Trouble Shooting:
Distorted Sound
Input is clipping: Try lowering the input gain or the volume control on your sound source or music
o
instrument.
Output is clipping: Lower the master volume control
o
Too much bass: Reduce the reduce (cut) the bass signal using the Equaliser controls (4).
o
Check LINK cable: If using two TREKKER i300's at the same time the LINK cable should only be plugged
o
into the LINK socket on the master unit and the CD/TAPE Input on the slave. Connecting the LINK of the
slave to the MIC or Instrument inputs will cause distortion.
Poor Sound Quality
Equaliser settings: If the sound is muffled or lack clarity check the EQ settings, either the bass could be
o
boosted too high or the MID or HI cut. To correct the sound centre all the EQ settings to the zero point and
adjust further in small increments.
Inputs: Check all inputs to ensure they are plugged in as per the instructions in this booklet.
o
Digital Noise: If using the PA system with an iPod® Touch or an iPhone® the device should have the
o
Airplane mode activated – this will prevent the PA System from picking up digital noise from the device's
antennae.
