Infotainment System
If the vehicle has rear audio/video
input jacks, located in the rear of the
center console, they can be used
as another source for audio/video
listening.
To use a portable audio player,
connect a 3.5 mm (1/8 in) cable
to the auxiliary input jack. When
a device is connected, the system
will detect and automatically begin
playing audio from the device over
the vehicle's speakers.
If a device is connected and you are
listening to another source (FM, CD,
MP3, etc.), press the AUX screen
button located on the left side
of the screen. If the AUX is not a
selection, press the down arrow
until the AUX screen button does
appear.

Navigation

Using the Navigation

System

This section has basic information
on how to operate the navigation
system.
Use the buttons located on the
navigation system along with the
available touch-screen buttons on
the navigation screen to operate the
system. See Overview on page 4
for more information.
Once the vehicle is moving, some
functions are disabled to reduce
driver distractions.
Navigation Buttons
The following buttons are located
on the faceplate of the navigation
system:
(Open/Close Faceplate): Press
this button, located at the bottom of
the Navigation Screen, to open or
close the faceplate.
(Eject CD): Press the
eject CD button, located next to
the CD loading slot, to eject CDs.
See CD Player on page 23 for
more information.
DVD (Eject Map Database
DVD): Press this button, located
next to the DVD loading slot, to
eject the map DVD. See Installing
the DVD Map Disc under Maps on
page 73 for more information.
Power/Volume Knob: Press to
turn the audio and navigation
systems on and off. Turn to increase
or decrease the volume to the audio
system.
