Possible cause and solution
There is too much ground coffee in the ground coffee chute.
If more than one level scoop is put into the ground coffee
chute the brew unit cannot process it. The ground coffee will
be directed into the waste container, and a fault will appear
in the display.
^ Turn off the coffee machine using the On/Off button K .
^ Remove the brew unit and clean it (see "Cleaning and care
– Brew unit").
^ Remove the ground coffee from inside the coffee machine,
for example by using a vacuum cleaner.
^ Use the coffee scoop supplied to measure out the ground
coffee. Please scoop only one serving of ground coffee
into the ground coffee chute.
The plumbed water intake is faulty.
^ Check for kinks in the water intake hose and open the
water supply all the way.
^ Remove the water tank and empty it.
^ Push the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into
place.
The water tank is not sitting properly in the unit.
^ Take the water tank out, then place it back in the unit.
If the water tank was not correctly filled and inserted during
descaling, this fault message will appear.
^ Fill it to the descaling mark F and restart the descaling
process.
If the fault message still appears on the display, contact
Miele Technical Service.
