Operating Instructions

DANGER: Laser Radiation, avoid
direct eye exposure.
AUTO LEVELING LASER LINES -
FIGURE H & I
Operation of Laser:
• Place unit flat against wall.
• Move lock button (2) to "unlock" position
(figure H).
• Turn the laser on, by moving the laser
on/off button (1) to "I" position.
• To turn laser off, move laser on/off button
to "0" position.
• The laser head can be rotated 180
degrees so that the horizontal self-
leveling laser line can project to the left or
to the right as shown in figure I.
• The laser lines will only auto-level when
the laser head is within a few degrees of
vertical.
LOCKED LAYOUT LASER LINES -
FIGURE H & I
• Place unit against wall, floor or other flat
surface.
• Move lockbutton (2) to "lock" position.
• To turn laser on, move laser on/off button
(1) to "1" position.
• To turn laser off, move laser on/off button
to "0" position.

• If upper laser line is not visible, hold the
unit vertically against a wall, move the
lockbutton (2) to "unlock" for a few
seconds, then move the lockbutton back
to "lock".

• The laser head can be rotated 180
degrees so that the horizontal self-
leveling laser line can project to the left or
to the right as shown in figure I.

• The self-leveling laser lines can be used
to align the corner of an object like a tile
or a cabinet.

• Additionally the laser head can also be
rotated to a protractor angle as shown in
figure J.
• The lockbutton (2) must be locked to
rotate the laser head and the lines are not
self-leveling or self-adjusting in this mode.
• Use the markings on the laser head to
position the laser lines at a predetermined
angle.
• Place unit flat against wall.
• Move lock button (2) to "unlock" position
for about 5 seconds (to set a level
position at 0 degrees)
• Move the lockbutton to "lock" position.
• Rotate the laser head to the desired
protractor angle.
• To turn laser on, move laser on/off button
to "1" position.
• To turn laser off, move laser on/off button
to "0" position.
