E Custom Setting Menu

1. EV Steps

Sets the step interval for exposure.
Setting
±0.3, ±0.7, ±1.0, ±1.3, ±1.7, ±2.0, ±2.3, ±2.7, ±3.0, ±3.3,
1/3 EV Steps
±3.7, ±4.0, ±4.3, ±4.7, ±5.0
1/2 EV Steps
±0.5, ±1.0, ±1.5, ±2.0, ±2.5, ±3.0, ±3.5, ±4.0, ±4.5, ±5.0

2. Sensitivity Steps

Sets whether to adjust the sensitivity in increments of 1 EV step
or in accordance with the [EV Steps] setting for exposure.

3. Meter Operating Time

Select from [10sec.], [20sec.], [30sec.] or [Continue] for the
exposure metering time. If [Continue] is selected, metering
continues until the shutter release button is pressed fully or the
camera is turned off.

4. AE-L with AF Locked

Exposure is locked when focus is locked.

5. Link AE and AF Point

The metering point and the AF point can be linked when the
metering mode is set to A (Multi-segment), or when the
focusing area selection mode is set to E (Select) and the
metering mode is set to C (Spot). Exposure is adjusted in
accordance with the position of the selected AF point.
6. Auto EV Compensation
Compensates automatically when the proper exposure cannot
be determined.

7. Bulb (B) Mode Options

Sets the function of the shutter release button in M mode.
Type1
Continuous exposure while the shutter release button is pressed.
Press the shutter release button to start exposure, and press it
Type2
again to end exposure.

• The camera operates in the same manner when shooting with a
remote control unit.
