Tuning to preset stations
■On the front panel
• Press the TUNING/PRESET MODE button to select the
preset mode, then rotate the TUNING/PRESET knob to
select the desired preset number.

MENU
• Each time the TUNING/PRESET MODE button is
pressed, the mode changes as follows :
Tuning mode ↔ Preset mode
("P" goes off) ("P" lights up)
■On the remote control
• Select the desired preset number.
• When using the NUMERIC buttons.
Examples:
For "3" :

within 3 seconds

Erasing preset stations
• You can erase the preset stations as desired.

Select the preset station to be cleared by
performing the preset tuning operation.

knob or the MEMORY button for more than 3
seconds.

• Then "DELETE OK?" is displayed for several seconds.
• When "DELETE OK?" is not displayed, perform the step 2
again.

Press the TUNING/PRESET knob or the
ENTER button.

• Then the stored frequency (and its name) will be erased
from the memory.
Listening to FM stereo broadcasts
• While listening to FM broadcasts,
• Each time the STEREO/MONO button is pressed, the FM
mode changes as follows :

STereo mode
("ST" and STEREO indicator
light up)
• When FM stereo broadcasts are poor because of weak
broadcast signals, select the FM mono mode to reduce
the noise, then FM broadcasts are reproduced in
monaural sound.
