General Sound Settings

General sound settings include silent mode, vibrating option, and volume adjustment.
Silent Mode
1. Press >
2. Select the Silent mode check box to silence all sounds except alarms, and music and
video media.
Vibrate
1. Press >
2. Touch Vibrate, and then select one of the options.
Volume
You can adjust the volume from the home screen or any application screen (except during a call
or when playing music or videos). Press the Volume buttons on the left side of the phone to
adjust volume to the level you desire.
You can also adjust the volume from the settings screen.
1. Press >
2. Drag the slider left to make the volume lower, or right to make it higher.
3. Touch OK to save the adjustment.

Incoming Calls

Set your own sound options for incoming calls.
Phone Ringtone
1. Press >
2. Touch the ringtone you want to use, and then touch OK. The ringtone plays when
selected.
Increasing Ringtone
Your phone's ringtone volume can be set to increase gradually from low to high when there is
an incoming call. To set this function:
1. Press >
Device Settings
and touch Settings > Sound.
and touch Settings > Sound.
and touch Settings > Sound > Volume.
and touch Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.
