Editing tuner preset names

When you distribute radio programs from the connected controllable Yamaha AV
receiver, you can select radio stations preset on the AV receiver (called "Tuner pre-
sets") with the MusicCAST server operations. Previously, the MusicCAST server dis-
played the list for tuner presets by ID (A1, A2, etc.) programmed on the AV receiver,
but the version upgrade enables you to edit tuner preset station names as you like and
display the list by name. For information on the tuner preset function, refer to the
owner's manual of your AV receiver. (Checking controllable AV receivers: see page
133 of the MCX-1000 Owner's Manual, connection settings: see page 90 of the MCX-
1000 Owner's Manual, AV receiver parameter settings: see page 122 of the MCX-
1000 Owner's Manual)
Follow the procedure below to edit tuner preset station names displayed on the
MusicCAST server.

Select "Top Menu" ➞ "AV receiver".
The settings screen for the Yamaha AV receiver connected to your MusicCAST
server appears.

Use i to move the cursor to the "Preset" column.
The tuner preset selection screen appears.

Use u/d to select the tuner preset station name you want to edit
and press SUB MENU.
The Sub Menu appears.
Note
• To use this function, you need
to set the AV receiver's input
source to "TUNER".
• Tuner preset station names
edited using this function appear
only available on the
MusicCAST server. This
function does not change the
names displayed on the AV
receiver.
Number of characters for
tuner preset station names
The maximum number of
characters for a tuner preset
station name is 30.
