Setting the Sleep Timer
The Sleep Timer is especially useful if you want
the TV to turn itself off after a selected period of
time�

From the APPLICATIONS menu, press s or
r to select Sleep Timer�

Press the Number buttons (0-9) to enter
the amount of time until the TV turns off�
Alternatively, press v or w to adjust the time
in blocks of 10 minutes up to 12 hours�

Press
to start the timer�
EXIT
To display the remaining Sleep Timer:
Press
SLEEP
To cancel the sleep time:
Press s, r or
SLEEP
00:00�
Using the Auto Format
When the TV receives a true HDMI signal picture
and the Auto Format is On, it will automatically
be displayed in HDMI signal format, irrespective
of the TV's previous setting�

PREFERENCES menu, press s or r to
select Auto Format�

Activating Blue Screen
With the Blue Screen function On, the screen
automatically turn blue will be muted when no
signal is being received�

r to select Blue Screen�

Activating the 4:3 stretch
When 4:3 stretch is activated, this function will
switch 4:3 format programmes into a full screen
picture�

r to select 4:3 stretch�

Using the TV's features

Panel Lock
Panel Lock disables the buttons on the TV� All
buttons on the remote control can still be used�

From the PREFERENCES menu, press s or
r to select Panel Lock�

Press v or w to select On or Off�
Note:
When Panel Lock is On, a reminder will appear
when the buttons on the TV are pressed. If the
standby button is pressed, the TV will switch off
and can only be brought out of standby by using
the remote control.
Setting Automatic Power Down
The TV will automatically turn itself off (standby)
after approximately 4 hours, if you do not operate
the control buttons on the remote control or on
the TV control panel�

From the PREFERENCES menu, press s or
r until Energy Saving Settings is selected,
and then press

Press s or r to select Automatic Power
Down, press v or w to select On or Off, and
then press
EXIT
Notes:
• This feature is set to On when Location is set
to Home.
• 1 minute before switching to standby, a warning
message will appear.
• The TV will automatically turn itself off after
approximately 1 hour if you do not operate the
TV (after turned on by On Timer).
Setting No Signal Power Down
The TV will automatically turn itself off after
15 minutes when no signal is detected. You
can change the setting to Off for the following
purposes:
• Low signal strength of analog channel (no
signal detection)
• Only Audio L/R is connected to an external
input in order to listen to music through the TV
speakers�
