OPERATION

HANDSET
BATT.LOW Indicator
Lights when the battery pack needs
recharging. (If the battery pack is
completely exhausted, the indicator
does not light).
TALK/VOL. (volume) Button/Indicator
Press to receive an incoming call or to
place an outgoing call. Lights when the
handset is in the talk mode.
Also used to change the receiving level
(normal or loud) of the earpiece.
TONE/
Button
Press to temporarily switch to
Touch-Tone dialing.
FLASH Button
Used to access special services
offered by your telephone company
(call waiting, for example).
RINGER VOL. Button
Press and hold for at least one
second in standby mode to change
ringer volume (low or high).
Battery Compartment
Located on the rear.
INTERCOM Button
Press to begin an intercom
conversation with the base station user.
Also used for transferring a call to the
base station.

END Button
Press to end a call.
Dialing Buttons
MEMORY Button
Press to store phone numbers in
speed dial memory or to call a
stored phone number.
REDIAL/P (Pause) Button
Press to redial the last number
dialed. If you press any other dialing
button before pressing this button, it
functions as a pause button.
CHANNEL Button
Press to change the operating channel
when you hear noise or interference
during a call.
