Level setting using a music source

A music source can be used for speaker level setting and subwoofer level setting.
1 Play a disc marked "Dolby Digital".
2 Select the speaker.
3 Press the TRIM (5/∞) key to setting
the speaker level.

Changing the INPUT MODE

The input mode can be switched with VCR, SAT/CABLE
and FRONT.
For listening to VCR, SAT/CABLE and FRONT input with
high sound quality, connect the digital output of your
satellite tuner with coaxial or optical cable and change
the input mode as follows.
1 Select the VCR, SAT, CABLE or
FRONT key.
2 Press the INPUT MODE key.

Speaker level adjustment can be performed by
pressing the keys L, R, SL, SR. C and SW.
L
: Left front speaker
R
: Right front speaker
LS : Leftt Surround speaker
RS : Right Surround speaker
C
: Center speaker
SW : Subwoofer
÷ The level of Front speakers, Center speaker and Surround
speakers adjustment are possible in the range from -6
dB to +6 dB.
The level of Subwoofer adjustment is possible in the
range from -9 dB to +9 dB.
÷ The mode is switched off when no operation is
performed for about 5 seconds.
When the video is displayed, but no sound is put
out, the source may not contain digital audio. In such
