The IP gateway has the option to manually update the device software.
Note
Device updates are not normally required and should only be carried out for troubleshooting
purposes.
Note
Before updating the firmware, always check if the update bears a date more recent that the
software already installed. See also the section "Version information".
Updating the device software cleares ALL device settings.
1. Check if there is a firmware update on the Busch-Jaeger product page "www.busch-jaeger-katalog.de/8300-0-
0328,artikel.html".
The software (Zip archive) and documentation on how to perform an update is located in the right column
under the "Software" menu item.
2. Save the Zip archive to a local directory.
3. Select the file from the "Browse..." menu box. Follow the instructions in the Help file to perform the update..
4. The update process can take a few minutes.
Wait for the update process to complete.
5. Restart the IP gateway.
Disconnect the IP gateway from the mains voltage and switch it on again.
