Remove the whole burner system using the
four retaining nuts holding the heat exchanger
door to the body. (fi g 6.6).

•
Remove the fl ue elbow by lifting it up and
away from the heat exchanger.
•
The heat exchanger is now only retained by the
two side brackets and releasing the four front
screws will enable it to be pulled forward. Be-
fore releasing ensure there is support available
(see fi g 6.7)

•
Replacement is the reverse.

NGINE
IRCULATION
These are located on the return pipes of the Heat
Engines (see Fig 7.1, item 28).
•
Drain as much of the primary water as is neces-
sary to ensure the pump is empty.
•
Remove the lid of the pump wiring box and
disconnect the supply lead.
•
Undo the two water connections and remove
the pump.
•
Transfer the supply lead to the new pump.
•
Replacement is the reverse.
•
Refi ll and check for leaks.

This single pump is located between the Low Loss
Header and the plate heat exchanger (see Fig 7.1,
item 27)
•
Drain as much of the primary water as is neces-
sary to ensure the pump is empty.

disconnect the power supply lead.
•
Undo the two water connections and remove
the pump.
•
Transfer the supply lead to the new pump.
•
Replacement is the reverse.
•
Refi ll and check for leaks.

ECONDARY
These are located on the pipes from the plate heat
exchanger going to the tank (see Fig 7.1, item 29).
•
Turn off the two valves fi tted between the
tank and pumps.
•
Drain as much of the secondary as is necessary
to ensure the pump is empty.
•
Remove the lid of the pump wiring box and
disconnect the power supply lead.
•
Undo the two water connections and remove
the Pump.
•
Transfer the supply lead to the new pump.
•
Replacement is the reverse.
•
Refi ll and check for leaks.
