"Check the brew unit"
Possible cause and solution
^ The brew unit cannot reset to the correct position or it is
clogged and the ground coffee cannot be processed.
^ Check if you can remove the brew unit (see "Cleaning
and care – Brew unit").
^ If you can remove the brew unit, clean it (see "Cleaning
and care – Brew unit").
Push the coffee ejector of the brew unit into the correct
position (see image).
^ Reinsert the waste unit and the water container. Do not
insert the brew unit. Close the door and turn off the
coffee machine using the On/Off button K.
The brew unit motor will automatically move to the correct
position.
^ When the message "Insert the brew unit" is displayed,
open the door and reinsert all parts into the unit.
If you cannot remove the brew unit:
^ Turn off the coffee machine using the On/Off button K.
Wait about 2 minutes and then turn it on again.
